(Our Play on Orange Chicken - Spice Edit)
Ingredients: 500g Chicken breast (cubed), 2 tbsp Oil, 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste, 100ml Orange juice, 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Honey, 1 tsp Chili flakes, 3 tbsp Cornflour, 1 Egg...
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken breast (cubed)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 100ml Orange juice
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Chili flakes
- 3 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 Egg
Cooking Method
- The Coat Dredge chicken in egg and cornflour; fry until golden and crispy; set aside.
- The Architect Sauté ginger-garlic paste in a fresh pan until fragrant.
- The Bloom Add the glaze ingredients and a 30ml splash of water; boil until it reduces to a thick, neon-orange syrup.
- The Marriage Toss the crispy chicken into the syrup until every piece is lacquered and sticky.
- The Final Flourish Finish with fresh orange zest and a handful of sliced spring onions.
