(Our Play on Tari Wala Chicken)
Ingredients: 800g Chicken (bone-in thighs preferred), 2 Large onions (finely diced), 1 tbsp Ginger paste, 1 tbsp Garlic paste, 1.5 tsp Turmeric, 1.5 tsp Chili powder, 2 tsp Coriander powder, 2 Fresh tomatoes (chopped), 400ml Boiling water, 1 tsp Garam Masala...
Ingredients
- 800g Chicken (bone-in thighs preferred)
- 2 Large onions (finely diced)
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1.5 tsp Turmeric
- 1.5 tsp Chili powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 Fresh tomatoes (chopped)
- 400ml Boiling water
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- Fresh coriander
Cooking Method
- The Architect Fry onions for 12 minutes until deep caramel brown.
- The Bloom Add dry spices and tomatoes; mash for 5 minutes into a thick, oily paste.
- The Sear Add chicken and stir for 5 minutes to seal and coat in spices.
- The Simmer Pour in boiling water; simmer covered for 25 minutes until oil floats to the top.
- The Final Flourish Stir in Garam Masala and fresh coriander before serving.
