Ingredients
- 50g Roasted vermicelli
- 500ml Full-fat milk
- 50g Sugar
- 20g Ghee
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- Saffron strands
Cooking Method
- The Scorch If not pre-roasted, fry vermicelli in ghee until dark golden brown.
- The Reduction Boil milk; add vermicelli and simmer for 10 minutes until soft and the milk is thick.
- The Sweeten Stir in sugar and cardamom; cook until the sugar dissolves.
- The Final Flourish Top with saffron strands and crushed almonds.
