Ingredients: 50g Roasted vermicelli, 500ml Full-fat milk, 50g Sugar, 20g Ghee, 1 tsp Cardamom powder, Saffron strands...

Ingredients

  • 50g Roasted vermicelli
  • 500ml Full-fat milk
  • 50g Sugar
  • 20g Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Saffron strands

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch If not pre-roasted, fry vermicelli in ghee until dark golden brown.
  2. The Reduction Boil milk; add vermicelli and simmer for 10 minutes until soft and the milk is thick.
  3. The Sweeten Stir in sugar and cardamom; cook until the sugar dissolves.
  4. The Final Flourish Top with saffron strands and crushed almonds.
