(Our Play on Mongolian Chicken)
Ingredients: 500g Chicken breast (thin strips), 3 tbsp Cornflour, 100ml Soy sauce, 2 tbsp Brown sugar, 1 tbsp Ginger paste, 4 Spring onions (cut into long batons)...
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken breast (thin strips)
- 3 tbsp Cornflour
- 100ml Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 4 Spring onions (cut into long batons)
Cooking Method
- The Coat Toss chicken in cornflour until dry; fry in oil on high heat until the edges are crispy.
- The Bloom In a fresh pan, boil the soy, sugar, and ginger with a 30ml splash of water until syrupy.
- The Marriage Toss the crispy chicken and spring onion batons into the syrup until lacquered.
- The Finish Top with raw red chili flakes for a hit of color.
