THE VELVET MONGOLIAN POULTRY

Ingredients: 500g Chicken breast (thin strips), 3 tbsp Cornflour, 100ml Soy sauce, 2 tbsp Brown sugar, 1 tbsp Ginger paste, 4 Spring onions (cut into long batons)...

Ingredients

  • 500g Chicken breast (thin strips)
  • 3 tbsp Cornflour
  • 100ml Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 4 Spring onions (cut into long batons)

Cooking Method

  1. The Coat Toss chicken in cornflour until dry; fry in oil on high heat until the edges are crispy.
  2. The Bloom In a fresh pan, boil the soy, sugar, and ginger with a 30ml splash of water until syrupy.
  3. The Marriage Toss the crispy chicken and spring onion batons into the syrup until lacquered.
  4. The Finish Top with raw red chili flakes for a hit of color.
