THE SUMAC RED CRUSH
(Our Play on Greek Salad with a Mexican Twist)
Ingredients: 3 Tomatoes, 1 Cucumber, 1 Red onion, 1 Avocado (diced), 1 tbsp Sumac, 1 tsp Chili flakes, 1 tsp Salt, 2 tbsp Lime juice, 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil, 100g Feta (crumbled)...
Ingredients
- 3 Tomatoes
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Red onion
- 1 Avocado (diced)
- 1 tbsp Sumac
- 1 tsp Chili flakes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 100g Feta (crumbled)
Cooking Method
- The Architect Dice all vegetables and avocado into uniform cubes; combine in a bowl.
- The Bloom Whisk lime juice, oil, and spices with a tiny 5ml splash of warm water to wake the tart sumac oils.
- The Marriage Toss the veg and avocado in the spiced citrus silk; the feta will soften into the architecture.
- The Final Flourish Top with raw fresh coriander matchsticks and a final rain of raw sumac.
