(Our Play on Masala Chai)
Ingredients: 300ml Water, 200ml Full-fat milk, 2 tbsp Loose leaf black tea, 1 tbsp Sugar, 2 Cardamom pods (crushed), 1 Cinnamon stick, 1cm Fresh ginger (crushed)...
Ingredients
- 300ml Water
- 200ml Full-fat milk
- 2 tbsp Loose leaf black tea
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 Cardamom pods (crushed)
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1cm Fresh ginger (crushed)
Cooking Method
- The Boil Bring water and whole spices to a boil; simmer for 3 minutes to extract the oils.
- The Bloom Add the tea leaves and sugar; boil until the water turns dark and fragrant.
- The Swell Pour in the milk; bring to a rolling boil until it rises to the top of the pot.
- The Finish Strain into a cup and serve steaming hot with a final fresh hit of aromatics.
