Ingredients: 500g Beef (cubed), 400ml Coconut milk, 2 tbsp Rendang paste, 30g Toasted coconut flakes...

Ingredients

  • 500g Beef (cubed)
  • 400ml Coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp Rendang paste
  • 30g Toasted coconut flakes

Cooking Method

  1. The Sear Fry beef in a pot until browned.
  2. The Bloom Add paste and a splash of water; fry until the oil rises.
  3. The Slow Merge Add coconut milk; simmer uncovered for 45 minutes, stirring until the milk evaporates.
  4. The Scorch The beef will start to fry in its own coconut fat; keep stirring until dark brown.
  5. The Finish Toss in toasted coconut flakes for a final textured hit.
