Ingredients: 400g King prawns, 2 cloves Garlic (minced), 100g Ajvar, 1 tsp Smoked paprika, 1 tsp Salt, 100ml Double cream, 50ml Dry White Wine, 50g Butter...

Ingredients

  • 400g King prawns
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 100g Ajvar
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 100ml Double cream
  • 50ml Dry White Wine
  • 50g Butter

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch High-heat sear prawns in butter until charred and pink; remove.
  2. The Architect Add garlic and ajvar to the hot pan; fry until the oil starts to separate.
  3. The Bloom Add spices and wine; the steam will release the smoky pepper oils.
  4. The Silk Merge Stir in cream; simmer for 2 minutes until a thick, orange-red silk forms.
  5. The Marriage Return prawns; toss until lacquered.
  6. The Final Flourish Top with raw fresh dill matchsticks and extra lemon zest.
