THE SMOKY ONION-PULSE
(Our Play on Serbian Prebranac / Baked Beans)

- 800g White beans (canned/rinsed)
- 4 Large White onions (finely sliced)
- 100ml Sunflower oil
- 2 tbsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 100ml Veg stock
Cooking Method
- The Architect Fry onions in oil on low heat for 20 minutes until they melt into a sweet golden jam.
- The Bloom Add paprika and pepper with a 30ml splash of stock; the hiss will release the smoky oils into the jam.
- The Marriage Mix beans and onion jam in a tray; drizzle with honey.
- The Scorch Roast at 200°C for 20 minutes until the top layer is charred and blackened.
- The Final Flourish Finish with extra raw paprika and fresh raw parsley.
