THE SMOKY KALE-PULSE
(Our Play on Portuguese Bean and Kale Soup)

Ingredients
- 400g Cannellini beans (canned)
- 300g Kale (shredded thin)
- 100g Chouriço (diced)
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1L Veg stock
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Cooking Method
- The Scorch Fry chouriço in oil until the fat renders and it turns rock-hard.
- The Bloom Add spices to the hot fat with a 30ml splash of stock; the hiss will bloom the smoke.
- The Swell Add beans and remaining stock; simmer for 10 minutes. Mash a few beans for silkiness.
- The Marriage Toss in the kale; simmer for 3 minutes until wilted but still bright.
- The Final Flourish Drizzle with raw extra virgin olive oil and fresh black pepper.
