Cooking Method
- The Scorch Fry fruit halves in butter until dark brown and charred.
- The Bloom Add sugar and spices to the pan; add a tiny 20ml splash of water to release the woody perfume.
- The Marriage Pour in the Rakija; carefully ignite. The flames will release the spirit aromatics into the sugar-silk.
- The Swell Boil until it reduces to a thick purple-gold lacquer.
- The Final Flourish Serve with a massive dollop of cold raw Greek yogurt and raw walnuts.
