- 400g Green beans (trimmed)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp Chili flakes
- 1 tsp Szechuan peppercorns
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
Cooking Method
- The Dry Scorch Fry beans in a very hot, dry pan until the skins are blistered and 'shriveled'.
- The Architect Add oil, ginger-garlic, and spices; sauté until fragrant.
- The Bloom Add soy sauce and a 15ml splash of water to form a dark glaze that grips the beans.
- The Final Flourish Top with toasted sesame seeds and a hit of raw chili.
