THE SAFFRON FETA-DISK
(Our Play on Baked Feta with a Persian Heart)

- 200g Feta (whole block)
- 1 tsp Saffron strands
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Rose water
Cooking Method
- The Bloom Whisk oil, honey, and spices with the rose water; add a tiny 5ml splash of warm water to release the golden oils.
- The Marriage Place feta in a small oven dish; drench in the golden honey-silk.
- The Scorch Roast at 210°C for 15 minutes until the honey bubbles and the feta edges are charred.
- The Final Flourish Top with raw crushed pistachios and fresh raw mint.
