THE RED-SWELL BELLS
(Our Play on Punjenje Paprike / Stuffed Peppers)
Ingredients: 6 Bell Peppers (tops removed, cored), 500g Beef and Pork mince mix, 100g Rice (uncooked), 1 tsp Smoked paprika, 1 tsp Black pepper, 1 tsp Salt, 500ml Tomato passata, 200ml Beef stock, 1 tbsp Sugar...
Ingredients
- 6 Bell Peppers (tops removed, cored)
- 500g Beef and Pork mince mix
- 100g Rice (uncooked)
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 500ml Tomato passata
- 200ml Beef stock
- 1 tbsp Sugar
Cooking Method
- The Build Knead the meat, rice, and spices together; add a 10ml splash of stock to loosen the architecture.
- The Marriage Stuff the meat-silk into the peppers; place them upright in a deep pot.
- The Bloom Whisk passata, stock, and sugar with a tiny 15ml splash of vinegar; pour over the peppers.
- The Swell Simmer covered for 45 minutes until the rice is tender and the peppers are lacquered.
- The Final Flourish Serve with raw sour cream and a rain of raw fresh parsley.
