THE RED-FIRE LEGUMES

Ingredients: 400g Chickpeas (boiled/canned), 2 tsp Chili flakes, 1 tsp Smoked paprika, 1 Red onion (finely diced), 3 cloves Garlic, 2 tbsp Olive oil, 1 tbsp Tomato purée...

Ingredients

  • 400g Chickpeas (boiled/canned)
  • 2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 Red onion (finely diced)
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Tomato purée

Cooking Method

  1. The Architect Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until soft and translucent.
  2. The Bloom Add tomato purée and spices with a 25ml splash of water to form a dark fire-paste.
  3. The Marriage Add the chickpeas; toss on high heat for 5 minutes until every legume is stained red and slightly charred.
  4. The Final Flourish Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon and raw fresh oregano.
