THE RED-CRUNCH COTTAGE
(Our Play on Korean Fried Tofu)
Ingredients: 400g Firm Tofu (cubed), 4 tbsp Cornflour, 1 tsp Smoked paprika, 2 tbsp Gochujang, 1 tbsp Honey, 1 tbsp Soy sauce, Black sesame seeds, Crushed peanuts...

- 400g Firm Tofu (cubed)
- 4 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp Gochujang
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- Black sesame seeds
- Crushed peanuts
Cooking Method
- The Coat Dredge tofu in cornflour and paprika; deep fry at 180°C until rock-hard and crispy.
- The Bloom In a small pan, boil the gochujang, honey, and soy with a 30ml splash of water until it bubbles.
- The Marriage Pour the hot fire over the crispy tofu; toss until every side is stained red and sticky.
- The Final Flourish Top with sesame seeds and peanuts for a final textured hit.
