Ingredients: 500g Beef steak (thin slices), 1 Large onion (sliced), 2 Jalapeños (sliced), 2 Large tomatoes (chopped), 1 tsp Cumin, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 1 tsp Black pepper, 50ml Beef stock, 1 tbsp Tomato purée...

Ingredients

  • 500g Beef steak (thin slices)
  • 1 Large onion (sliced)
  • 2 Jalapeños (sliced)
  • 2 Large tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 50ml Beef stock
  • 1 tbsp Tomato purée

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Sear steak strips on maximum heat until browned; remove.
  2. The Architect Fry onions, jalapeños, and tomatoes in the pan until charred and soft.
  3. The Bloom Add spices and tomato purée with a 30ml splash of stock; fry until a thick sauce forms.
  4. The Marriage Return the beef to the pan; simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce lacquers the meat.
  5. The Final Flourish Top with a massive hit of raw fresh coriander.
