THE POMEGRANATE MEAT SLABS

Ingredients: 2 Ribeye steaks, 1 tsp Sumac, 1 tsp Black pepper, 1 tsp Salt, 2 tbsp Pomegranate molasses, 2 tbsp Olive oil, 1 tbsp Honey, Handful of fresh Mint (minced)...

Ingredients

  • 2 Ribeye steaks
  • 1 tsp Sumac
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Pomegranate molasses
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • Handful of fresh Mint (minced)

Cooking Method

  1. The Coat Rub steaks with oil and dry spices; let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. The Scorch Grill on white-hot heat for 4 minutes per side until rock-hard charred; remove.
  3. The Bloom Whisk pomegranate molasses and honey with a tiny 10ml splash of water; the heat will release the sweet oils.
  4. The Marriage Baste the hot meat with the pomegranate-silk immediately.
  5. The Final Flourish Top with a mountain of raw fresh mint and pomegranate arils.
