Ingredients: 1L Water, 2 Tomatoes (chopped), 1 tbsp Tamarind paste, 1 tsp Sugar, 1 tsp Black pepper (crushed), 1 tsp Cumin seeds, 1 tsp Turmeric, 2 tbsp Ghee, 1 tsp Mustard seeds, Curry leaves...
Ingredients

- 2 Tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Tamarind paste
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Black pepper (crushed)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
Cooking Method
- The Boil Combine water, tomatoes, tamarind, and sugar; boil until tomatoes are soft.
- The Bloom Add the pepper and cumin with a splash of water to the pot; simmer for 5 minutes.
- The Tarka In a separate pan, heat ghee and sizzle the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- The Marriage Pour the hot temper directly into the soup; it should sizzle and pop!.
- The Finish Serve piping hot in a bowl or over rice.
