Ingredients
- 400g Mixed mushrooms (halved)
- 2 tsp Chili flakes
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 50g Butter
- 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
Cooking Method
- The Scorch Fry mushrooms in a dry pan on maximum heat until they release their water and turn dark brown.
- The Architect Add butter and garlic; sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant.
- The Bloom Add spices and vinegar with a tiny 15ml splash of water to release the deep, woody aromatics.
- The Marriage Toss until the liquid reduces to a thick, dark lacquer that coats the mushrooms.
- The Final Flourish Garnish with fresh raw chives and a hit of sea salt.
