THE PEET-POT MINCE

Ingredients: 500g Lamb or Beef mince, 200g Potatoes (tiny 1cm cubes), 1 Large onion (finely diced), 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp Turmeric, 1 tsp Chili powder, 1 tsp Garam masala...
Ingredients
- 500g Lamb or Beef mince
- 200g Potatoes (tiny 1cm cubes)
- 1 Large onion (finely diced)
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
Cooking Method
- The Architect Sauté onions until golden; add ginger-garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- The Bloom Add dry spices and a 30ml splash of water to form a dark masala paste.
- The Sear Add meat and potatoes; break up the mince and fry on high heat until browned.
- The Simmer Add 100ml water; cover and simmer for 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
- The Final Flourish Top with raw red onion matchsticks and fresh coriander.
