Ingredients: 500g Gnocchi (fresh), 3 tbsp Basil Pesto, 100ml Double cream, 1 small onion (pureed), 20g Pine nuts, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 0.5 tsp Black pepper...

Ingredients

  • 500g Gnocchi (fresh)
  • 3 tbsp Basil Pesto
  • 100ml Double cream
  • 1 small onion (pureed)
  • 20g Pine nuts
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Toast pine nuts in a dry pan; remove.
  2. The Architect Fry onion puree in butter until sweet and golden.
  3. The Bloom Add spices and pesto with a 20ml splash of pasta water to form a thick green glaze.
  4. The Silk Merge Stir in the cream; simmer for 2 minutes until it thickens into a velvet silk.
  5. The Marriage Toss the gnocchi through the cream until glistening.
  6. The Final Flourish Top with toasted pine nuts and raw fresh basil.
