(Our Play on Chana Masala)
Ingredients: 2 Cans (800g total) Chickpeas, 1 Onion (diced), 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp Cumin powder, 1 tsp Amchur, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 150ml Tomato passata...
Ingredients
- 2 Cans (800g total) Chickpeas
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Amchur
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 150ml Tomato passata
Cooking Method
- The Architect Sauté onion until golden brown.
- The Bloom Add dry spices and a splash of water; the mix should look quite dark.
- The Simmer Add tomatoes and chickpeas; simmer for 10 minutes.
- The Mash Crush a few chickpeas against the pot to release starch and thicken the sauce.
