(Our Play on Crispy Orange Beef)
Ingredients: 400g Beef steak (shredded), 4 tbsp Cornflour, 1 Egg, 100ml Orange juice, 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Chili flakes, Orange zest, Spring onions...
Ingredients
- 400g Beef steak (shredded)
- 4 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 Egg
- 100ml Orange juice
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Chili flakes
- Orange zest
- Spring onions
Cooking Method
- The Coat Toss beef in egg and cornflour; fry in hot oil until dark and very crispy; remove.
- The Bloom Boil orange juice, soy, and chili with a 30ml splash of water until it reduces to a syrup.
- The Marriage Toss the crispy beef in the bubbling syrup until every side is sticky and red.
- The Finish Top with raw orange zest and spring onions for a sharp finish.
