Ingredients: 400g Sirloin steak (grilled and sliced), 3 tbsp Lime juice, 2 tbsp Fish sauce, 1 tsp Chili flakes, 2 Red onions (thinly sliced), 20g Fresh mint, 20g Fresh coriander, 1 tbsp Toasted rice powder...

Ingredients

  • 400g Sirloin steak (grilled and sliced)
  • 3 tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 2 Red onions (thinly sliced)
  • 20g Fresh mint
  • 20g Fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp Toasted rice powder

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Sear steak on maximum heat until charred outside but pink inside; rest then slice.
  2. The Bloom In a bowl, whisk lime juice, fish sauce, and chili with a 15ml splash of water.
  3. The Marriage Toss the warm steak slices, onions, and herbs into the dressing until well combined.
  4. The Final Flourish Scatter the toasted rice powder over the top right before serving for a nutty crunch.
