THE LEMONGRASS SILK-BLOCKS
(Our Play on Vietnamese Tofu with Lemongrass)
Ingredients: 400g Firm Tofu (cubed), 2 Lemongrass stalks (minced), 1 tbsp Garlic paste, 1 tsp Turmeric, 1 tsp Chili powder, 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Sugar...
Ingredients
- 400g Firm Tofu (cubed)
- 2 Lemongrass stalks (minced)
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
Cooking Method
- The Scorch Fry tofu cubes in oil until every side is golden and crispy; remove.
- The Architect Sauté lemongrass and garlic in 1 tbsp oil until golden.
- The Bloom Add the spices and a 20ml splash of water to form a yellow, aromatic paste.
- The Marriage Toss the tofu back in with the soy and sugar; stir-fry for 2 minutes until dry and coated.
- The Finish Finish with a massive hit of fresh red chilies and coriander.
