Ingredients

  • 400g Green beans (trimmed)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Lemon (juiced and zested)
  • Toasted Pine nuts

Cooking Method

  1. The Boil Blanch beans for 3 minutes; drain.
  2. The Architect Heat oil and sauté garlic until golden and sweet.
  3. The Bloom Add the pepper and salt with a tiny 10ml splash of water to form a fragrant steam.
  4. The Marriage Toss the beans in the garlic oil for 2 minutes until charred.
  5. The Final Flourish Add the lemon juice, zest, and raw pine nuts for a sharp finish.
