Ingredients

  • 400g Black beans (canned/rinsed)
  • 1 Red onion (minced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 100g Cheddar (grated)
  • 50ml Milk

Cooking Method

  1. The Architect Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  2. The Bloom Add spices and a tiny 15ml splash of water; the heat will swell the chili.
  3. The Swell Add beans and milk; simmer for 5 minutes while crushing some beans with a fork.
  4. The Marriage Stir in the cheese until it vanishes into a thick, black molten silk.
  5. The Final Flourish Top with raw fresh jalapeño rings.
