  • 1 Large Cucumber
  • 2 tbsp Black vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Chili oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Fresh coriander

Cooking Method

  1. The Smash Whack the cucumber with a rolling pin until it splits; tear into rough, craggy chunks.
  2. The Mix Whisk the vinegar, soy, sugar, and garlic in a bowl.
  3. The Bloom Stir in the chili oil; the vinegar will help the spices 'swell' into the dressing.
  4. The Marriage Toss the cucumber in the dressing; let sit for 5 minutes to absorb the fire.
  5. The Final Flourish Top with sesame seeds and coriander.
