- 250g Chana Dal (soaked and coarsely ground)
- 1 large onion (finely diced)
- 1 tbsp Ginger (grated)
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Chili flakes
- 500ml Vegetable oil
Cooking Method
- The Mix Combine ground dal, architect, and spices; do not add water.
- The Shape Flatten small handfuls into rough disks; ensure the edges are thin for maximum crunch.
- The Fry Drop into 180°C oil; fry for 4 minutes until dark golden and crispy.
- The Final Flourish Serve immediately with a hit of fresh green chili chutney.
