- 200g Moong dal (Yellow lentils)
- 500ml Water
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Green chili (split)
Cooking Method
- The Boil Boil lentils until they are soft and have almost dissolved into a creamy soup.
- The Bloom Add a splash of water to adjust thickness to your liking.
- The Tarka Melt butter in a small pan; fry cumin and chili until they sizzle and darken.
- The Marriage Pour the hot temper over the lentils; serve immediately.
