Ingredients
- 300g Basmati Rice
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 3 Cardamom pods
- 2 Cloves
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric
- 600ml Boiling water
Cooking Method
- The Rinse Wash rice 3 times; soak for 10 minutes then drain.
- The Toast Fry whole spices and turmeric in 1 tbsp oil; stir in rice until glistening yellow.
- The Absorption Add boiling water and salt; cover with a tight lid and turn to the lowest setting.
- The Steam Let sit covered for 5 minutes after turning off heat; fluff with a fork.
