Ingredients: 400g King prawns, 8 cloves Garlic (finely sliced), 100ml Extra virgin olive oil, 1 tsp Chili flakes, 1 tsp Smoked paprika, 1 tsp Salt, Fresh Parsley, 1 Lemon (juiced)...

Ingredients

  • 400g King prawns
  • 8 cloves Garlic (finely sliced)
  • 100ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Lemon (juiced)

Cooking Method

  1. The Architect Heat oil in a small heavy pan; sauté garlic slices until they turn a pale biscuit gold and smell nutty.
  2. The Bloom Add chili flakes and paprika with a tiny 10ml splash of water; the sizzle will release the red oils without burning the garlic.
  3. The Scorch Add prawns; stir-fry on high heat for 2 minutes until they curl and turn pink.
  4. The Marriage Toss until the prawns are coated in the glowing red garlic silk.
  5. The Final Flourish Finish with a massive hit of raw parsley and a squeeze of lime to lift the fat.
