Ingredients: 4 slices Portuguese Cornbread (Broa), 6 cloves Garlic (minced to a paste), 1 tsp Smoked paprika, 1 tsp Salt, 100ml Extra virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp White wine vinegar...

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Portuguese Cornbread (Broa)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (minced to a paste)
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 100ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp White wine vinegar

Cooking Method

  1. The Architect Gently heat the oil; add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant but not brown.
  2. The Bloom Add paprika and salt with a tiny 10ml splash of vinegar; the reaction will bloom the smoky aromatics.
  3. The Scorch Toast the bread until the edges are blackened and charred.
  4. The Marriage Drench the hot charred bread in the spiced garlic silk.
  5. The Final Flourish Top with a massive hit of raw fresh parsley matchsticks.
