Ingredients: 300g Jasmine rice (cold, cooked), 2 tbsp Chili oil with flakes, 6 cloves Garlic (minced), 1 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tsp Sugar, 1 Red onion (diced)...

Ingredients

  • 300g Jasmine rice (cold, cooked)
  • 2 tbsp Chili oil with flakes
  • 6 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 Red onion (diced)

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Heat oil in a wok; fry garlic and onions until they are a deep, crispy golden brown.
  2. The Marriage Add the rice; stir-fry on high heat for 4 minutes until 'dancing' in the pan.
  3. The Bloom Add the chili oil, soy, and a tiny splash of water to steam the flavors into the grains.
  4. The Final Flourish Finish with a massive hit of raw spring onions and a squeeze of lime.
