- 4 Slices of sourdough bread
- 2 cloves Garlic (whole)
- 400g Tomatoes (diced)
- 2 tsp Chili flakes
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 50ml Extra virgin olive oil
Cooking Method
- The Scorch Toast the bread until the edges are blackened and charred.
- The Architect Rub the raw garlic cloves vigorously over the hot, rough bread surface.
- The Bloom Toss tomatoes with oil and spices; add a tiny 10ml splash of water to help the spices swell.
- The Marriage Pile the tomato fire-mix onto the garlic-bread.
- The Final Flourish Top with a massive hit of raw fresh basil matchsticks.
