Ingredients: 250g Plain flour, 150ml Hot water, 0.5 tsp Salt, 4 Spring onions (finely chopped), 2 tbsp Sesame oil, 2 tbsp Oil for frying...

Ingredients

  • 250g Plain flour
  • 150ml Hot water
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 4 Spring onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Oil for frying

Cooking Method

  1. The Mix Knead flour and water into a soft dough; rest for 15 minutes.
  2. The Twirl Roll out thin; brush with sesame oil and sprinkle with onions. Roll into a cigar, then coil into a snail.
  3. The Shape Flatten the snail gently with a rolling pin back into a circle.
  4. The Scorch Fry in a hot oiled pan for 3 minutes per side until golden brown and flaky.
  5. The Final Flourish Serve hot with a soy-vinegar dipping sauce.
