THE FLAKY ONION-TWIRLS

Ingredients
- 250g Plain flour
- 150ml Hot water
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 4 Spring onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Oil for frying
Cooking Method
- The Mix Knead flour and water into a soft dough; rest for 15 minutes.
- The Twirl Roll out thin; brush with sesame oil and sprinkle with onions. Roll into a cigar, then coil into a snail.
- The Shape Flatten the snail gently with a rolling pin back into a circle.
- The Scorch Fry in a hot oiled pan for 3 minutes per side until golden brown and flaky.
- The Final Flourish Serve hot with a soy-vinegar dipping sauce.
