Ingredients
- 400g Extra-firm Tofu (cubed)
- 1 tsp Five-spice powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Oil
Cooking Method
- The Scorch Fry tofu in oil on high heat until every side is dark golden and crispy.
- The Bloom Dust the tofu with the spice mix; add a tiny 15ml splash of water to ensure the powder sticks.
- The Marriage Add the soy and sugar; toss until the tofu is dark and glazed.
- The Finish Garnish with fresh red chilies and spring onions.
