THE FIRE-STUNG WHITE-PULSE

Ingredients: 400g Cannellini beans (canned/rinsed), 2 tsp Chili flakes, 4 cloves Garlic (minced), 1 tsp Dried Sage, 1 tsp Black pepper, 50ml Extra virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp Tomato purée...

Ingredients

  • 400g Cannellini beans (canned/rinsed)
  • 2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Dried Sage
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 50ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Tomato purée

Cooking Method

  1. The Architect Sauté the garlic and sage in oil until the garlic is deep golden and smells like a biscuit.
  2. The Bloom Add chili, tomato purée, and a 25ml splash of water to form a dark, fragrant fire-paste.
  3. The Marriage Add the beans; toss on high heat for 5 minutes until they are melting and coated in the spicy silk.
  4. The Final Flourish Finish with a heavy drizzle of raw extra virgin olive oil and fresh parsley.
