THE FIRE-STUNG STEAK STRIPS

- 500g Beef sirloin (thin strips)
- 2 Bell peppers (petals)
- 1 Large onion (petals)
- 1 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Lime (juiced)
Cooking Method
- The Scorch High-heat stir-fry onions and peppers until they are charred and blackened at the edges.
- The Sear Push veg aside; sear beef strips on maximum heat for 2 minutes until browned.
- The Bloom Add the spices and a 20ml splash of water; the steam will carry the spice into the meat and veg.
- The Marriage Add lime juice; toss everything for 1 minute until glistening and lacquered.
- The Final Flourish Serve with fresh raw salsa and warm tortillas.
