THE FIRE-STUNG PULSE POT

Ingredients: 250g Green lentils, 200g Spicy Italian Sausage (sliced), 1 Red onion (diced), 1 Carrot (minced), 1 tsp Chili flakes, 1 tsp Fennel seeds...

Ingredients

  • 250g Green lentils
  • 200g Spicy Italian Sausage (sliced)
  • 1 Red onion (diced)
  • 1 Carrot (minced)
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Fennel seeds

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Fry sausage slices until browned and the fat renders.
  2. The Architect Add onions and carrots; sauté until soft and sweet.
  3. The Bloom Add chili and fennel seeds with a 30ml splash of stock to release the aromatics.
  4. The Swell Add lentils and 600ml stock; simmer for 25 minutes until the pulse is tender.
  5. The Final Flourish Top with a massive hit of raw fresh rosemary and olive oil.
