Ingredients: 2 Pork shoulder steaks, 1 tbsp Chili powder, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 1 tsp Dried Oregano, 2 tbsp Olive oil, 1 tbsp Honey, 1 tbsp Lime juice...

Ingredients

  • 2 Pork shoulder steaks
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice

Cooking Method

  1. The Coat Rub the pork with oil and spices; add a 10ml splash of water to the rub to help it penetrate the meat fibers.
  2. The Scorch Fry in a heavy pan on high heat for 5 minutes per side until blackened and charred.
  3. The Marriage Whisk honey and lime juice; pour over the hot pork in the pan for 30 seconds.
  4. The Final Flourish Rest for 5 minutes then slice; top with raw fresh coriander.
