THE FIRE-STREET FOLD
(Our Play on Korean Beef Tacos)
Ingredients: 400g Beef sirloin (thin strips), 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Honey, 1 tbsp Gochujang, 1 Red onion (sliced), 2 cloves Garlic (minced), 8 Small flour tortillas, 100g Kimchi (chopped)...
Ingredients
- 400g Beef sirloin (thin strips)
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Gochujang
- 1 Red onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 8 Small flour tortillas
- 100g Kimchi (chopped)
Cooking Method
- The Scorch Fry beef and onions in a hot pan until charred and the edges of the beef are crispy.
- The Bloom Add the fire silk ingredients and a 20ml splash of water; boil until it forms a thick red lacquer.
- The Marriage Toss for 2 minutes until the meat is sticky and stained dark red.
- The Assembly Char the tortillas over an open flame; fill with the beef and chopped kimchi.
- The Final Flourish Finish with a massive hit of raw coriander and a squeeze of lime.
