THE FIRE-SILK CHEW-BATONS

- 300g Korean Rice Cakes (batons)
- 2 tbsp Gochujang
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 300ml Chicken or Veg stock
- 2 Hard-boiled eggs
- Fresh spring onions
Cooking Method
- The Swell Bring the stock to a boil in a wide pan.
- The Bloom Whisk gochujang, soy, and honey with a 30ml splash of the hot stock until it forms a red lava; pour into the pot.
- The Marriage Add the rice cakes; simmer uncovered for 8 minutes until the sauce is a thick, dark red silk that sticks to the batons.
- The Finish Top with halved eggs and a massive hit of raw spring onions.
