Ingredients
- 200ml Vegetable oil
- 50g Peanuts
- 20g Sesame seeds
- 50g Dried Chili Flakes
- 4 cloves Garlic (sliced)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Cooking Method
- The Scorch Heat oil in a pan; fry the garlic and peanuts until deep golden and crunchy; remove from heat.
- The Bloom Add the chili flakes and sesame seeds to the hot oil; the residual heat will bloom the spice without burning.
- The Marriage Add salt, sugar, and vinegar; the acid will pop the oil bubbles.
- The Finish Let cool; the oil will turn a deep, dangerous crimson. Use as a raw spicy hit for everything.
