Ingredients: 400g Extra-firm Tofu (cubed), 6 Dried red chilies, 50g Peanuts (roasted), 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Vinegar, 1 tbsp Honey, 1 Green pepper (petals), 1 Red onion (petals)...

Ingredients

  • 400g Extra-firm Tofu (cubed)
  • 6 Dried red chilies
  • 50g Peanuts (roasted)
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 Green pepper (petals)
  • 1 Red onion (petals)

Cooking Method

  1. The Scorch Fry tofu in oil until crispy; set aside. Fry dried chilies until they turn dark.
  2. The Architect Sauté onions and peppers on high heat until charred at the edges.
  3. The Bloom Add the silk ingredients and peanuts with a 30ml splash of water to form a dark lacquer.
  4. The Marriage Toss the tofu into the sauce until every cube is sticky and red.
  5. The Final Flourish Garnish with fresh spring onion matchsticks.
