Ingredients

  • 300g Potatoes (boiled and cubed)
  • 100g Peas
  • 8 Samosa pastry sheets (store-bought)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Amchur
  • 500ml Vegetable oil

Cooking Method

  1. The Architect Sauté finely diced onions until golden brown.
  2. The Bloom Add spices and a tiny 15ml splash of water to form a yellow, clinging paste.
  3. The Mix Toss in the potatoes and peas; cook for 3 minutes then let cool.
  4. The Fold Fold pastry into triangles, fill with the mix, and seal the edges with a flour-water paste.
  5. The Fry Deep fry at 180°C until dark golden and crispy.
