Ingredients

  • 100g Granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp Ginger powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Lemon (zested)

Cooking Method

  1. The Mix Combine the sugar and spices in a dry bowl.
  2. The Bloom Add a tiny 5ml splash of warm water to a corner of the bowl; whisk it into a small part of the sugar to create a high-scent concentrated paste.
  3. The Marriage Incorporate the paste back into the rest of the dry sugar to evenly distribute the aroma.
  4. The Final Flourish Toss over hot fried dough and top with raw lemon zest for a sharp aromatic finish.
