- 3 Large Apples (thin half-moons)
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 50g Butter (melted)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 30g Sugar
Cooking Method
- The Shape Lay apples on the pastry sheet in a circular pattern.
- The Bloom Whisk melted butter, honey, and spices with a 10ml splash of warm water; the liquid will release the cinnamon oils.
- The Coat Paint the apples heavily with the spiced honey silk.
- The Bake Roast at 200°C for 25 minutes until the pastry is charred and the apples are caramelized.
- The Final Flourish Brush with extra raw honey while hot; top with raw lemon zest.
