Ingredients: 200g White rice, 1L Whole milk, 100g Sugar, 1 can Condensed milk, 2 Cinnamon sticks, 1 tsp Vanilla extract, Ground cinnamon, Orange zest...

Ingredients

  • 200g White rice
  • 1L Whole milk
  • 100g Sugar
  • 1 can Condensed milk
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Orange zest

Cooking Method

  1. The Swell Boil rice in water for 10 minutes until half-cooked; drain.
  2. The Bloom Add milk and cinnamon sticks; the heat will release the woody perfume into the silk.
  3. The Simmer Add sugars; simmer on low heat, stirring often for 20 minutes until it forms a thick cream.
  4. The Marriage Stir in vanilla at the very last second to preserve the aroma.
  5. The Final Flourish Serve warm or cold with a final raw dust of cinnamon and fresh orange zest.
